In
1991 Gibbons moved to the United States where he worked in diverse business sectors that took him to China and Hong Kong for
a number of years. During the events of 2001 (September 11, 2001) he and his family were living for a brief while back in
England, where he developed the backbone of what is widely known as '14 Days.' His writings and development of a synergy between
the arts and humanities evolved into two principle projects '14 Days in America' (2004) and later
'14 Days in Great Britain.' (2005). Gibbons traveled with production crews over
the aforementioned countries seeking the hearts and minds of over 8,000 people, developing a natural gift of disarmament and
discernment. The material and interaction created an important body of work eventually leading to two documentary films and
extraordinary collections of photography.

By 2009
Gibbons had already begun his now long-running series In Discussion (www.davidgibbons.org) known around the world as a cutting edge daily radio and television streaming
broadcast that first aired on November 30, 2009. His empowering and inspirational observations of life in all areas of science,
philosophy, business and the arts has become so popular that it is now considered as an up-to-date platform and perspective
likened to Alistair Cooke, from whom much of his impressions and methodology have been sought.

Recently,
his 'Crossing over the Bridge' programs have been hailed by groups worldwide as
the most powerful tool for bringing diverse organizations and individuals together in finding the real solutions for Mother
Earth and human accord. After 13 months an extraordinary body of work including over 340 hours of programming deems to provide
a legacy that charts what Gibbons believes to be "the generation of all generations." His work now includes documentary
filming of the greatest minds in the world and a return to the speaking platform that will take him to Haiti, Ecuador and
countries around the world in late 2011 onwards.
He lives in California and Europe traveling extensively with an
emerging and fast paced media and ambassador role schedule. JS New York October 2011
Staring
skywards and adoringly at my Father as we stood in the doorway of our bungalow in Amesbury (near Stonehenge) is a memory that has always remained ingrained in my mind. As the front door opened I wrapped myself around his legs waiting
to see our next visitor with nervous anticipation. A shadow came into view against the low dawning sun filtering through high
oaks lined majestically on the far side of the road passing our home. The man's right hand reached for and displaced a large
helmet from his head and greeted Father with “a jolly good morning sir.” The local bobby as we called him or more
commonly known today as a police officer, stood as a giant in the glass porch. Father as usual responded with impeccable manners
and an addictive smile. The well-known figure in our quiet hamlet reached into his pocket and emerged with a large pound note
duly handed to my Father for his monthly insurance dues. My Father was the 'Man from the Pru” and like many spent a
lifetime dedicated to one career following service in the British Army. As recognition of and pride in his six-year old son
now hanging on for dear life to his baggy trousers, the paper note was offered to me as acknowledgement of my presence. As
I reluctantly reached for the old style pound sterling with some trepidation, Father caught my eye for a brief moment and
made the shortest statement and yet most important; a statement that was to define the life I have led. “Darling it
is dirty so be very careful”

In
that one moment in the spring of 1968, I realized that there was far more to a single statement than I could ever have at
the time appreciated. Father intended it that way knowing that it would surely resonate as loudly as church bells on a Sunday
morning; later when the time was appropriate. That intention became my heart's beating thrust and call throughout life. Today
when the world has become polluted by greed, it has as never before become the realization in my own mind that these words
have more meaning than ever. Father's words were lined with multiple messages that have defined the challenge to reverse a
consuming pariah now driving people to the edge of extinction. At all levels of society
we have become paralyzed by the image of a monetary animal that consumes us with a fear, now clearly out of control. It is
a paradigm that engulfs society at every level and is far more dangerous than any wider conflict could ever be in our lifetimes.
My Father and courageous Mother frequently taught me such valuable and subtle lessons throughout life. (William George
Gibbons b. 1926 d. 1997 - Pamela Rosemary Gibbons b. 1923 d. 2011)
Following
a life of taking wrong turns and opposing inconvenient truths, I now have everything in heart and soul to place these lessons
into action and context. Some thirteen years following Father's death those memories of childhood become more vivid everyday
directing all decisions and acts of discernment.
After years of floating
and dreaming it will be written in my journal that the year 2009 would become an important realignment in life. After losing
a marriage three years before and watching as alarmed spectator the result of an excessive consumer society imploding, I began
to see the aftermath of a project through which everything had become clear. Fourteen days although a dismal failure in commercial
terms, was not with standing a success in bringing personal perspectives into alignment. Since 2006 I had become lost as the
energy of meeting so many people diminished. Several projects surfaced but did not compare to the magnificence of this creativity
that had been realized with good friend photographer Richard Knapp. In the spring of 2009 friends encouraged
me to begin radio programming. After investing every last penny, broadcasting began on
November 30, 2009. The decision to reside in the cyberspace of a still unknown and untested internet domain became the
proving ground not only for my own fortitude but that of many others around me. In its
cutting-edge realm I realize now that while the model is still fighting to emerge it
was and indeed remains to be seen as the best of risks. By the end of that year and now some six weeks into programming the
reality of unexpected homelessness sunk in acutely. Indeed, by the end of that year I
was alone in a cold office buried in an unfriendly airpark. During that period I began a relentless
workload with eighteen-hour days. In retrospect a healing process had begun after years of conditioning,
restraint and ultimately self-inflicted practice. This march across the battlefield
continued until May of 2010 by which time weight had dropped to the horror of friends
to 128 pounds.

Several
illnesses' the last of which took me through an intense physiological death was to be the defining chapter. My very close
friends ensured that by 1.00pm everyday a vehicle was placed at my disposal. With ever-growing weakness a thirty-minute drive
would land me at the broadcasting studio in time for the daily recording. Here I would remain calm and above all resolute
as Father would have wished. By now we were realizing the strength of In Discussion. As a commercial reality it remained destitute
and to this day continues through divine intervention and belief. In all this time the one constant - faith - maintained and
willed a strength to continue. The studio remained compliant and respectful and to this day allows this work to continue.
Behind every radical force and changing discipline there is a quiet engine that moves gracefully, knowing that the spirit
of change represents strength, inspiration and education. To these people quietly passing by each day and supporting so many
technical challenges under the weight of constant programming, I am not sure what feelings will emerge when looking back in
years to come.
The
summer of 2010 began a turn around with many becoming curious about the programming. In May of that year I had reached physically
the lowest possible vibration and mental capacity and in retrospect realize that I came within at one-point, hours of transitioning
to the next dimension. Through it all the strength of my Father's spirit, loving daughter, friends and colleagues saw me through
the desperate hours of loneliness and constant research.
Quietly we reached the
one-year anniversary of In Discussion and have since climbed mountains and affected lives through many programs. Through trusted
colleagues such areas as science, philosophy and human rights violations have been raised all of which I trust have engaged
listeners with education and inspiration. (Third Anniversary Anniversay November 30, 2012)

In all
of this work a clear path has been forged where knowledge of a changing world has become clear as the writing or symbols etched
into a high cave dwelling wall. Now as we reach the end of an industrialized era where Mother Earth can no longer withstand
the aggression placed upon her body by outdated corporate offenders, these programs stand up quietly in the pursuance of change.
It becomes more evident everyday in this work engaged with so many, that the final days of those desperate attempts by corporate
giants to continue are numbered. They no longer have a place in an ever-evolving conscious world. In provoking and supporting
change the old notions conditioned by corrupt beliefs also have no place in the strategy by which this now comes about. Judgment,
conflict and fear serve no successful outcome or participation in the changes that will now sweep the world.
To acknowledge
these values all people will be connected universally without exception, devoid of ego and increasingly so over the next two
years. The method by which all corrupt organizations and platforms are dismantled is clearly through calm compassion and pragmatism.
It is also acknowledged by the great teachers of our universe and those activating sublime consciousness, that we are now
to experience and watch all corrupt energies, fuels and modified food production cease; replaced instead by energies that
will arrest any further human harm. In that process compassion is vital to recognize that those immersed and infected by a
decadent force be wrapped in love rather than excessive guilt. It may appear that those in control of corporations imposing
detrimental affects on our Mother Earth, Goddess and people presently, are negated from being part of a future governance.
To the contrary however they may indeed be included in or part of a growing leadership that will take us into the next epoch.
Consciousness values the opposition of judgment and condemnation where all will be one at the end of the day and all will
be together.
Meanwhile, the endless research, long days and friendships gained with wonderful
individuals and groups continue unabated. In Discussion grows through compassion and with the core mission of inspiring and
educating its listeners. As in the universal law of attraction In Discussion belongs to the listeners and the listeners belong
to In Discussion. Discussion, talking, loving and respecting each other motivates all to continue building this new main communicative
voice. Most importantly it is acknowledged in this work that those without a voice are themselves absent and unknowing slaves.
Therefore, they as all should be offered a voice as every soul on this planet is equally important.

Because
of a Father and Mother whose unreserved devotion taught me quiet resilience, I have and never will surrender to fear or any
human emotion that deems to breakdown the love of a human heart. I will in my way remain calm at the darkest times, to lead
those listening to know that in me they have found that heart whose determination to fight for truth and compassion will never
cease. It will never cease until a shimmering light becomes a powerful beam of energy that shines across any darkness. This
and all the passion engulfed in a world's desire to remove itself from that out dated energy and monetary system will
ultimately bring people back to the kingdom of love.

From running
across the barley fields of Wiltshire in eye shot of Stonehenge during long childhood days to standing with all people on
this universal stage, is where life has brought me. My Father's words underlined more than any picture or action ever possibly
could in pursuance of a clean and enlightened world. A world that will result in a peaceful, just and sustainable Mother Earth,
where our children can again run their toes through the sand with joyful hearts. With that wonderful painting of a new world
by design, it is a personal and resolute goal to take on that new design today. The time for referring deep seated problems
in assurance of our survival as a species to future generations has come to an end. We are now charged with that challenge,
so that they will not inherit the same conditions or pressures that we and countless generations have sadly ignored. This
is therefore the "generation of all generations."

"I feel the weight of the world on me, today more than ever before in my life. 14 Days began
a journey of great responsibilty that I take seriously and hold with every care; for those not only working with me, but the
wonderful people with whom I share a brief period of intimacy. To make a difference is my wish ... so that those I come into
contact with, will know of my respect for their right to be seen and heard .... and then to say, that in me they have found
a friend." David William Gibbons - Los Angeles, July 28, 2009
